By accessing or using the Academy High School website at academyhighschool.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.
Academy High School has been providing adult education since 1976. These terms govern your use of our online GED equivalent courses and related services.
Eligibility
Our online GED equivalent program is designed for adults aged 18 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You are providing accurate personal information
- You will use the platform for educational purposes only
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
Course Access & Pricing
Academy High School provides the following:
- Free Course Access: All 4 courses (Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) are free to access with no upfront payment required.
- GED Equivalent Certificate: A one-time fee of $200 is required to receive your GED Equivalent Certificate upon completion of all coursework.
- Self-Paced Learning: There are no deadlines or time limits. You may study at your own pace.
- No Credit Transfer: No prior credits or transcripts are needed to enroll.
Payment Terms
The $200 certificate fee is processed through PayPal. By making a payment you agree to the following:
- Payment is for the GED Equivalent Certificate only; course access remains free.
- Payments are non-refundable once the certificate has been issued.
- Refund requests prior to certificate issuance will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- All prices are in U.S. dollars.
Academic Integrity
Students are expected to complete all coursework and assessments honestly. The following are prohibited:
- Submitting work completed by another person
- Sharing quiz answers or assessment content
- Using unauthorized tools during assessments
- Misrepresenting your identity or qualifications
Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
Intellectual Property
All course content, including but not limited to lessons, quizzes, study guides, worksheets, videos, and assessments, is the property of Academy High School. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials
- Record or screenshot course content for redistribution
- Use any content for commercial purposes
- Reverse engineer any part of the platform
Account Termination
Academy High School reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or disrupts the learning environment for other students.
Limitation of Liability
Academy High School provides courses and certificates on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties about the acceptance of our GED Equivalent Certificate by specific employers, colleges, or institutions. Students should verify acceptance with their intended institution or employer.
Changes to Terms
Academy High School reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
