IMPORTANT: By accessing or using Academy High School's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Academy High School ("Academy," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of:

- Online enrollment portals (Parent Portal, Adult Portal, Student Portal)
- Course materials and educational services
- All related services and features
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
2.1 Age Requirements
- Students Under 18: Must have a parent or legal guardian create an account and enroll them
- Adult Learners (18+): May create their own account and self-enroll
- Parents/Guardians: Must be 18 years or older to create an account
2.2 Account Registration
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
2.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Provide false or misleading information
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Fail to pay tuition or fees
3. Enrollment and Course Access
3.1 Course Enrollment
- Enrollment is confirmed upon successful registration and course selection
- Course access begins immediately upon enrollment
- Students may enroll in courses at any time during the year
- Course availability may vary and is subject to change
3.2 Adding and Removing Courses
- You may add courses to your enrollment at any time
- You may cancel courses at any time (see Section 5 for cancellation terms)
- Adding courses increases your monthly tuition effective immediately
- Canceling courses does not result in a refund for the current billing cycle
3.3 Course Materials
- All course materials are for personal educational use only
- You may not share, distribute, or resell course materials
- Course materials remain the intellectual property of Academy High School
- Access to course materials is granted only during active enrollment
4. Tuition, Billing, and Payments
4.1 Pricing
- GED Equivalent Program: $200 one-time payment for complete program access
- Full access to all 4 core subjects included
- No monthly fees or recurring charges
- Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice for new enrollments
4.2 Program Access
- Access begins immediately upon successful payment
- Your access does not expire - learn at your own pace
- Complete all subjects to earn your GED equivalent
- One-time payment covers entire program
4.3 Payment Methods
- Payments are processed through PayPal
- Credit and debit cards accepted through PayPal
- One-time payment - no recurring charges
- Transcript services have separate fees
4.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- You will be notified of the failed payment
- You may retry payment using a different method
- Program access is granted only upon successful payment
- Contact us for assistance with payment issues
4.5 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees required by your jurisdiction. Prices displayed do not include taxes unless explicitly stated.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Refund Terms
Important Refund Information
- No Refunds: Since payment is only collected after you complete the course, there are no refunds
- Pay After Completion: The $200 program fee is a single payment made upon course completion
- Technical Issues: If you experience technical issues that prevent program access, please contact us for assistance
5.2 Account Closure
- You may request account closure by contacting us
- Account closure does not qualify for a refund after the 7-day period
- Academic records are retained permanently per educational regulations
- Account closure does not erase transcript history
6. Transcript Services
6.1 Transcript Requests
- Official transcripts can be requested through our online form
- Current students receive their first transcript at no charge
- Additional transcripts and alumni transcripts have associated fees
- Processing times: Standard (7-10 business days), Rush (2-3 business days)
6.2 Transcript Fees (Non-Refundable)
- Current students: First transcript FREE, additional $5 each
- Alumni/Graduates: $10 per transcript
- Delivery fees: Electronic $5, Standard Mail $10, Express Mail $25
- Rush processing: Additional $15
- All transcript fees are non-refundable once processed
7. Academic Integrity and Conduct
7.1 Student Conduct
Students must:
- Complete coursework independently unless collaboration is specifically allowed
- Not engage in plagiarism or academic dishonesty
- Respect other students and staff
- Use course materials only for educational purposes
7.2 Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing account credentials with others
- Accessing another user's account without permission
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise our systems
- Uploading viruses or malicious code
- Using automated systems to access our services (bots, scrapers)
- Copying, distributing, or selling course materials
- Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
- Providing false information during registration or enrollment
7.3 Consequences of Violations
Violations may result in:
- Warning and required corrective action
- Suspension of course access
- Enrollment termination without refund
- Permanent account termination
- Legal action if applicable
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Our Content
All content on our website and in our courses, including but not limited to:
- Text, graphics, images, and audio
- Course curriculum and lesson materials
- Software and website code
- Trademarks, logos, and branding

Third-Party Content: Some educational videos embedded on our website are hosted on YouTube and remain the property of their respective creators. These videos are used for educational purposes and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
8.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Access and use course materials for personal educational purposes
- Download materials for offline study (where permitted)
- Print materials for personal use
You may NOT:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content
- Create derivative works from our content
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
- Use our content for commercial purposes
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10.4 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use our services
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your data
- Any interruption or cessation of services
- Any errors or omissions in content
Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Payment processing is handled by PayPal. Your use of PayPal is subject to PayPal's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for PayPal's services or any issues arising from your PayPal account.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of external sites.
